A New Year with a New Challenge

I never wanted to become a spoon fed Christian.

I realise now that I had settled into wearing the cloak of contentment, feeling safe and comfortable in my Christian and church life. I have been reading the challenging letters of Paul in the New Testament. He speaks on how to live our lives for the sake of the gospel and if I read the scriptures as literal instructions then I must not settle in the arms of contentment, comfortability or be happy sitting in the “place of safe”. When God calls us to live a life with and for Him, it rarely means safe or comfortable life but rather it means we need to be radically brave standing up for the gospel and speaking truth.
